My Election Boyfriend & I Rekindle the Love
After four years apart, my election boyfriend and I are hot and heavy again. I’d missed Nate’s manly statistics, his rippling calculations, his swoon-worthy algorithms. In four years, we’ve both changed a lot. His site is now part of The New York Times! Oh Nate, I’m not the only one who loves you.
Right now, he’s predicting an 85.7% probability that Obama will win. Nate, I hope you’re right about this.
p.s. Some friends have expressed curiosity/concern about Nate and I. To clarify: In reality, we are neither physically nor carnally acquainted, sadly. Such is life.
p.p.s. Nate, if you are wrong and the election goes the other way, I’m breaking up with you.

Click, click, click. She is THE Margo Rabb.
I guess I was a bit out of it today when you handed me your card. OF COURSE, I know of you and only wish we’d had time to book talk, but that time WILL come…right?
And sorry, Nate is madly in love with ME. Even if he is wrong, (but I don’t think he will be since I’m feeling good about election right now), I’ll still love him.
So happy we met. Love your beautiful little faerie-girl.

It was so wonderful to meet you, Sharon! We read the bird book several times already – both kids love it – and we’ve hung up our bird feeder on the window. Congratulations on another beautiful book! I hope our paths cross again soon.
